Student Section

Hello and welcome to the ISB student section!

In this section you will find information and resources that you might find particularly useful during your studies. Over the next few months this will include downloads of tutorials and lectures from future ISB conferences, an e-pals section where you can contact other student biomechanists, a review section containing useful books, websites, etc., and a list of international sources of funding, which can be updated from those of you who have had successful applications. Potential sources of funding will be identified by country.

If you have any contributions or suggestions for future sections, please contact:

This page is dedicated to providing links to international funding sources that will help you in your research development.

If you have successfully obtained funding from sources other than the ISB or your institution, please email the details to the webmaster to be entered on this page. This might be funding you have used for international or national travel, exchange programmes, funding your fees or living expenses or equipment grants.

Any information you can add to this section will help other student biomechanists in your country identify suitable sources of financial support.

If you have found a book, website or other resources particularly useful to your understanding or research development, then please share the details of these resources with the other student members.

I would also like to encourage you to review your departments and schools to help new students to the field identify potential institutions that can fulfil the needs of their research interests.
