ADInstruments manufactures PowerLab(R) data acquisition systems, signal conditioners, transducers and specialist software for life science research and education. The systems can be used to record and analyze physiological parameters in the human, including biopotentials, joint movement and force. Sampling rates of up to 200 kHz and filtering in both the hardware and software, makes our systems ideal for use in biomechanics.

Chart (TM) software allows the user to collect and review data in real time and incorporates powerful online and offline analysis features. ADInstruments also manufacture specialized software modules such as Spike Histogram. This Module provides the user with the ability to discriminate and analyze extra-cellular neural spike activity, featuring a height/width discriminator. The module provides both online and offline discrimination and analysis and the ability to reanalyze recorded spikes with modified discriminator settings.

In addition to PowerLab systems ADInstruments manufacture signal conditioners such as bio amplifiers and stimulus isolators that are approved for human connection.

PowerLab systems also easily integrate and connect to your existing signal conditioners with an analog output. ADInstruments always strive to provide the user with complete solutions and therefore provide cables, stimulating rods and bars, tendon hammers, joint angle sensors and other accessories for biomechanics.
