BTS SpA - Bioengineering

Garbagnate Milanese, Italy

Since 1986 BTS' main mission has been to develop, manufacture, and market solutions for the

diagnosis of pathologies of movement and gait, especially dedicated to orthopedic and

neurological rehabilitation. Paving the way in a proprietary area of expertise is the OEP (Opto-

electronic Plethysmography) for the measurement of breathing patterns in any condition (i.e.

rest, exercise, phonation, sleep).

The ELITE system is the flagship product, and with it BTS has been a pioneer in developing

and spreading high precision opto-electronic motion capture techniques.

BTS technology basis has widened over the years to include dynamic EMG devices, virtual

reality, and motion capture technologies for cinema and entertainment, as well as systems for

evaluating athlete's performance, ergonomic, industrial robot controls and many more

applications.

Innovation, technology, and quality are BTS' driving forces. Value for the customer, a focus on

the needs of the end-user, and patient outcomes define BTS' product philosophy. Providing

wholly integrated solutions with precise synchronization is what we do best. Participation in

international R&D endeavors and technology scouting keep BTS on the cutting edge.

Today, more than 500 BTS biomechanics installations are present in clinical and hospital

environments, rehabilitation centers, universities, sport research labs, entertainment industry,

light and heavy industry, and space/aviation programs.
