ST-ORM

Stochastic Optimization and Robustness Management

EASi's product ST-ORM is an advanced Meta-Computing tool for performing stochastic analysis and optimization of generic physical systems. Stochastic analysis is a simulation technique which enables one to take into account the scatter that is present in all engineering data.

ST-ORM Features

Efficient definition of stochastic problems

  • Solver independent; ST-ORM works with any solver that uses ASCII input and output.. The user can work with his preferred solver, ST-ORM facilitates stochastic analysis in almost any solver environment
  • Numerous probability distribution functions can be assigned to an unlimited number of design variables
  • Random fields
  • Dependent variables - Definition of all sorts of mathematical functions
  • Optimization - Design improvement tool

Statistical result evaluation - Post processing

  • Basic statistical analysis (statistical moments)
  • Graphics (ant-hill plots, histograms, cumulative distribution functions etc.)
  • Dynamic interaction with plots
  • Interactive real-time access to results while execution is still in progress
  • Export of results in MATLAB format for further evaluation.

ST-ORM is available for LINUX and UNIX platforms.
