| | Mega Electronics Ltd (Finland) manufactures and markets worldwide EMG systems (SEMG, |
| | fine wire, needle EMG) and applications for sports medicine, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, |
| | occupational health and biomechanics research. |
| | |
| | Mega's main product is Biomonitor ME6000. It has 4 - 16 channels, graphics display, large |
| | memory capacity (256 MB - 2 GB) and MP3 verbal audio feedback. The same small unit is a |
| | data logger, real time system and telemetry in small, compact size. The other EMG systems by |
| | Mega are 8 - 16 channels stationary Mespec 8000 and 2 channels Muscle Trainer biofeedback |
| | system. |
| | |
| | All systems use MegaWin software, support other sensors (goniometers, accelerometers, HR, |
| | ECG, etc.) and are fully compatible with digital video EMG, isokinetic, force plate and motion |
| | analysis systems. |
| | |
| | FemiScan is Mega's concept for the urinary continence care. The concept includes a clinic |
| | system and an interactive voice controlled, small home training unit. Each patient can have their |
| | own individual training program, which can be uploaded into the home unit. The home unit |
| | speaks patient's own native language and later on the exercises can be downloaded and been |
| | follow-up in the FemiScan software. |
| | |
| | Mega has also specialized in mobile health care applications (incontinence, EMG, blood sugar, |
| | etc.) for mobile phones in home care (series 60 platform and Java). |
