Medical Metrics, Inc is a company dedicated to providing quantitative measurements of musculoskeletal function for research and clinical use. We are now starting a beta test program for our KIMAX QM(TM) software. This software allows for acquisition of images in DICOM, BMP, TIFF, AVI, and other formats. It can also be used to acquire video through a video acquisition board. Once images are acquired into the software, specific anatomic structures can be identified in one image, and the position of that structure can then be tracked through the other images in the series. This software has been used to quantify intervertebral motion in the cervical and lumbar spine, knee laxity, and fracture healing. Several internal and independent laboratory validation studies have been completed. The technology, the clinical and research uses, and the validation studies are described in our web site at www.orthomet.com .

We are now seeking a limited number of sites to participate in beta tests of this software. Each site that has an interesting application will receive the software and a limited license to run the software. Additional information and a registration form to participate in beta tests are available through our web site.
