Rocky Mountain Musculoskeletal Research Laboratory
Denver, CO, USA

The Rocky Mountain Musculoskeletal Research Laboratory (RMMRL), formerly Rose Musculoskeletal Research Lab, is a not-for-profit research entity performing in vivo, three-dimensional musculoskeletal analyses for use in anatomical and artificial joints. Fluoroscopy is utilized to capture in vivo, weightbearing imaging while patients perform various activities.

RMMRL maintains a close relationship with local industry and institutions as a means of advancing research efforts and knowledge bases. The Colorado School of Mines (www.mines.edu) has shared a close working relationship with RMMRL for many years and continues to provide high caliber undergraduate and graduate assistants.

RMMRL continually screens applications for research assistantships and doctoral candidates interested in working closely with government and industry projects.

Other services RMMRL provides include, but are not limited to:

  • advanced Finite Element Analyses of implanted and anatomical structures (implicit and explicit)
  • tissue and bone modeling using MRI and CT technologies
  • diagnostics using fluoroscopy
  • design and development of wear/fatigue simulators
  • advanced imaging/vision software development (full service computational tools)

Please feel free to contact us for information about our ongoing research or to speak with us about future research opportunities
