Santa Rosa Outpatient Rehabilitation Center (San Antonio, Texas, USA)

The Santa Rosa Biomechanics Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the study, interpretation, and evaluation of human movement. We are equipped with a 5 camera Vicon motion measurement system, ten channel hard wire EMG, two moveable AMTI force plates, and two panasonic video cameras. Open since August of 1995, the laboratory's objectives include:
  1. Helping physicians and therapists select interventions which are most beneficial for the patient in optimizing movement strategies.
  2. Providing objective data following a procedure to evaluate efficacy, document success, or suggest future enhancements.
  3. Performing basic and clinical research to expand our knowledge of movement disorders and treatment.
