Ultrasons Technologies

Tours Cedex, France

Ultrasons Technologies has a specific know-how in ultrasound engineering. We are able to

realise dedicated ultrasonic prototypes for medical diagnosis and monitoring applications for

research organisations and medical instrumentation manufacturers. Particularly, the Company

has a long experience in the collaboration with scientific research organisations for development

of very innovative medical applications of ultrasound.

Its services cover feasibility studies, prototype design, realisation, assessment or technical

support in the field of imaging and Doppler technologies. Particularly, it realises dedicated

prototypes according to given specifications, from single electronic boards to complete

computerised devices. Our technical skills and facilities allow rapid transfers from research

investigations to commercial introduction.

Our technical developments already realised concern monitoring of human physiological

parameters in normal or specific conditions (under accelerations, in weightless conditions,

during long period of confinement to bed, …). Particularly, in the field of Biomechanics, these

applications include musculoskeletal imaging (high-resolution echography of superficial tissues,

bone densitometry, tendons biomechanic…) and cardio-vascular system monitoring.

The company is located near an important university hospital with a medical ultrasound

department considered as a European reference. This high-quality environment also includes a

technical investigation centre for prototypes validation in clinical situations.
