I completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science (Hons) at The University of Western Australia in 2006. My previous research interests lay in swimming biomechanics. However my current research focus, and interest lies in the Biomechnics of Performing Artists, focusing on Musicians.

My research focuses on Spine Biomechanics and Biomaterials. I received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, and M.S. in Bioengineering from the University at Buffalo, and now I am completing a Doctorate Degree in Biomedical Engineering. My current research at the Cleveland Clinic consists in evaluating the mechanical properties of cross-linked hydrogel biomaterials for potential nucleus pulposus replacement.
