The Lebanon Valley College Department of Exercise Science seeks an assistant/associate professor within the field of human biomechanics.  This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track position.  Candidates would be expected to make a transformative impact on the Departments of Exercise Science, Phsyical Therapy, Athletic Training, Athletics, and other rehab sciences in addition to engaging with community partners. Position responsibilites include coordinating activities and research with faculty, staff, and students out of a newly opened 4000 square-foot Lewis Human Perfomrance Lab,  teaching in the exercise science cirriculum, and maintaining an active research agenda.  The Human Performace Lab includes a fully integrated 8 camera motion analysis harware and software system with EMG and 4 pad in-ground force plates, isokinetic testing equipment, Catapult Acitivity monitors in addition to a full complement of exercise physiology testing equipment and faculty.  Candidate expertise is expected to encompass, but not exclusive to, one or more of the following areas: biomechanics, motion analysis, and neuromuscular exercise physiology.
