The School of Engineering at the University of North Florida (UNF) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Mechanical Engineering at the Assistant Professor level, commencing in August 2020. An earned Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field, with a specialization in biomechanics/biomaterials, is required at the time of position commencement. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate research experience and a record of publication as well as the ability to collaborate with UNF faculty and enhance the existing strengths of the program. A commitment to excellence in teaching and research, as well as the development of an externally funded research program, will be expected of the successful candidate. Collegiality, active service and participation in governance in accordance with the vision and mission of the school, college, and university are also expected.
