The Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, & Systems Engineering (IMSE) at Texas Tech University (TTU), Texas, USA, is looking for highly motivated individuals to pursue doctoral degrees in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanics. The fully-funded assistantships cover tuition and a competitive stipend. Potential start dates include August 2021. The student will work in federally funded projects on head-neck musculoskeletal biomechanics and finite element modeling.

Position requirements:



  • A recent (or currently enrolled) Masters degree in Biomedical/ Industrial/ Mechanical/ Civil Engineering, or similar degrees


Preferred qualifications:



  • Hands-on experience in human-related experiments

  • Students who worked with OpenSim and finite element modeling in the past
