The successful candidate will also contribute to all-college programs (Honors, First-Year Seminar, and Interdisciplinary programs).  The candidate will also have the ability to help design a new biomechanics/functional anatomy lab space.

Albion College is an anti-racist institution. This position will actively promote diversity, belonging and equity through critical and compassionate communication and strategic outreach efforts to various students, faculty and staff (e.g., historically under-represented, first-generation, undocumented and DACA students, LGBTQ students).

The candidate must have an earned doctorate in Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Science, Athletic Training, or a closely related field (doctorate must be completed by August 1, 2022).  The successful candidate must have a strong academic background in Exercise Science, evidence of excellence in teaching, an active research agenda that will include undergraduate students, and the ability to advise, mentor, and work with students with diverse backgrounds.

Interested candidates should submit an online application including a letter of application, a teaching statement, a research statement, a diversity statement (a diversity statement should explain how you foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in your classroom and on campus through your teaching, research, and/or service), current vita, copy of graduate transcript, and three letters of reference  through Interfolio at:http://apply.interfolio.com/96582.  Review of applications will begin November 10, 2021 and continue until the position is filled.
