Application Engineer Motion Capture Sports & Medicine

Simi is the leading innovator for motion capture software and complete systems for the detection and analysis of human motion. As a medium-sized company with a family tradition and branches in Los Angeles and Shanghai, Simi became part of ZF Group in May 2019. On this strategic base we are planning expansion and further development of our Sports, Medicine and Automotive markets.

Your responsibilities:

›› You become an application expert of our software solutions around motion capture, biomechanics and neural

networks

›› Technical instruction, training and support of customers, on site and remote

›› Establish and maintain business- and customer relationships in order to ensure a smooth aftersales process

›› Develop and adjust low-level Python-Scripts to control and analyse internal software

Your profile:

›› technical university degree in Sports Science, Biomechanics or the like

›› Strong team player with personal initiative and hands-on mentality

›› Willingness to global travels

›› Experience with installs and applications of motion capture systems is a plus, just like a general interest in developments in the field

›› Programming expertise, particularly in Python, is a plus

›› Experience in customer care or teaching experience is a plus

›› Fluent in English is necessary, German is a plus
