The Department of Health and Exercise Sciences (HES) at Truman State University is looking for a full time, one-year, non-tenure-track appointment of Assistant Professor of Biomechanics to begin August 2022. This position is ideal for candidates looking to build a record of teaching in a liberal arts environment.
Ideal candidate will have college teaching experience in biomechanics and relevant terminal degrees (MS for appointment at the instructor-level, PhD for appointment at the assistant professor-level, ABD candidate will be considered).
The candidate will be responsible for teaching two sections of Biomechanics per semester plus one other health and exercise sciences course (e.g., research methods). The position can be remote if necessary.
