Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at Angelo State University
The Department of Kinesiology invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track faculty position. The primary teaching responsibilities will be undergraduate courses in exercise physiology and biomechanics.
Job duties include:
- Teach primarily undergraduate courses, but assignments at the graduate level are also possible;
- Serve as faculty advisor and facilitate successful programming of the department student organization Kappa Mu Omega;
- Serve on department, college, and university committees;
- Continue or develop scholarly research, including supervising student research projects
- Supervise, mentor, and advise students;
- Participate in community service and professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates should have a terminal degree in Exercise Science or a related field.
- ABD will be considered.
- College teaching experience preferred.

- Candidate should possess strong written and oral communication skills and have the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
- A welcoming and inclusive approach to students is essential.
- Candidates must be competent in various course development and delivery models (face-to-face, hybrid, online).
