This software can be used free of charge. The authors however request proper credit (citation or acknowledgments), if GGLPEX is used in publications or in any other forms of communication. Make sure that you copy the file GIANPRED.INF to your root directory (c:\). This software uses the linear prediction method to extrapolate a data file. Make sure that the file starts from the top and there are no spaces before or after each number. eg. ---------------- 123 456 789 ... ... 999 -------------- You only need to enter the full data file name. At the end you will be asked to save the extrapolated data file. If you need to alter the model parameters you can do this in the file c:\GIANPRED.INF The associated published paper describes the least squares method (polynomial model) also which perormed similarly to the linear prediction. This is not included here since it is quite easy to develop it, but also is quite sensitive to the model coefficients. This software has been developed by Giannis Giakas and can by used only for research purposes.
