I am a student member of ISB and I am presently registered as a full time Master Student (M.Sc.) in experimental medicine at Laval University in Quebec City, Canada. I am working under the supervision of Dr Hélène Moffet (This email address is being protected from spambots. I received the Congress Travel Grant to attend the 17th ISB meeting in Calgary. This was a wonderful opportunity for me. The sum I received covered nearly all my expenses. I had the opportunity to share my results with some researchers that I often read and cite. As a result, I had many suggestions to continue my work. I had the opportunity to meet with potential Ph.D. advisors during the congress. Furthermore, I attended many presentations, I had a large choice, related to my actual field of research and to the spine which fascinates me. I did the same with the numerous poster presentations. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere that characterize the ISB. I hope that I will attend some other ISB conference in the future. I really enjoyed last week.
Again, I thank the ISB. With kind regards,
Eric Parent, P.T.
